The FSIP Difference: Remanufacturing vs Repair
Remanufacturing goes beyond a basic repair. It is the process of restoring an entire OEM unit to like-new or better-than-new conditions. Remanufacturing addresses not only the immediate failure, but also ensures all worn, stressed, and historically known-to-fail components are replaced.
Every remanufactured product FSIP restores is brought up to current OEM specifications, load tested to verify its performance in real-world operating conditions, and is backed by a comprehensive warranty.
Remanufacturing Options
Remanufactured Parts (RP)
Send us your worn or faulty part. Our expert technicians will remanufacture it and return it back to you.
- Contact FSIP’s Customer Support (chat, 800-333-1194, or customersupport@fsip.biz) for a quote
- Download and complete the R&R form (Repair and Return). Print completed form and send in with your product.
- A valid payment method must be on file before reman process can begin.
Rebuilt Exchange (RX)
Order an in-stock remanufactured part and trade in your rebuildable core. A quicker solution to RP.
- Shop online or contact FSIP’s Customer Support (chat, 800-333-1194, or customersupport@fsip.biz) to place your order. A Core Charge will be added to your invoice.
- FSIP ships your remanufactured part and email an RMA form (Return Material Authorization).
- Return your rebuildable core with the RMA form. Once your core is received and verified, you will receive a Core Charge refund.
Rebuilt Outright (RO)
Purchase a remanufactured part outright without returning a rebuildable core (a surcharge will apply).
- Shop online or order via Customer Support (chat, 800 333 1194, or customerservice@fsip.biz). Your invoice includes a Rebuilt Outright surcharge instead of a Core Charge.
- For e-store orders, enter “No Core Return” in Order Notes.
- FSIP confirms your order by email, and payment is processed at shipment.
